The Festival "Christmas Meetings"
13 - 27 december, 2014, Murmansk
On December 13 in Murmansk College of Arts the concert “The World of Leonardo Cohen” will take place. That is the joint project of Norwegian and Russian musicians. Its soloist is Tursteyn Fagerli.
Murmansk Choir "Amadeus" (the artistic director – the Honoured Artist of Russia Valery Ivanov) will take part in the concert.
On December 14 the Philharmonic invites to the Arts Museum for a concert of the winner of international competitions cellist Gleb Stepanov, Moscow. The programme features works by Schubert, Brahms, Tchaikovsky.
The festival will end on December 27 by the concert of Murmansk Philharmonic Orchestra that celebrates its 15-th anniversary. For its anniversary, the orchestra has prepared the programme "Strauss waltzes and polkas". The conductor is Edward Dyadyura, Moscow.
